Will it keep my formatting?
It extracts the words with simple paragraphs, not the original layout. That is usually exactly what you want for reusing the text in an email, a doc, or an AI prompt.
Why did my PDF come out empty?
It is almost certainly a scan: a photo of a page, with no text layer inside. Reading text out of images needs OCR, which this free in-browser tool honestly does not do yet. We would rather tell you that than pretend.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The text is read entirely inside your browser.
Need to get something signed?
