Talent Network welcome series

Every organization's Talent Network gets a welcome series: six short emails over five weeks to the people who join (day 2: welcome and why being in the talent network matters; day 7: who we are and what we do; day 14: the kinds of people we look for and who thrives here; day 21: tips for applying and interviewing with us; day 28: why work with us; day 35: know someone great, referrals), each linking to the careers page. It is a normal automation in Email Marketing (/email-marketing/automations), triggered by the organization's Talent Network list, so the owner edits every email there and turns it on there; it is created as a draft and nothing sends until she does. Each join files the person as an Email Marketing contact (source Talent Network, tags for area of interest and state) on the Talent Network list and enrolls them, even while the series is a draft, so they are waiting when it is turned on. A repeat join never restarts the series, nobody who unsubscribed, bounced or was cleaned is re-subscribed, and only people who joined after the consent covered these emails are enrolled (earlier joins are never backfilled; the tab says how many). The first join makes a starter draft from the organization's own AEP words without AI; on the Talent Network tab (/my-stuff/applicant-tracking/talent), Set up the welcome series (when there is none) or Write it from my AEP drafts the six emails with AI from the Org Design Cheat Sheet identity (what we do, who we work with, mission, vision, purpose, philosophy, core statement, distinction, values, culture), the Company Profile tagline, and the open postings, using credits, and says which cheat sheet sections would make it stronger. Emails send from the organization's own mailbox with its mailing address and an unsubscribe link; until the sending connection and mailing address are set in Email Marketing Settings, the tab says what is missing and emails wait.

How to use it
Open the Talent Network tab at /my-stuff/applicant-tracking/talent. The line at the top says where the welcome series stands. If it says Not set up, press Set up the welcome series: it drafts six short emails from your AEP (welcome, who you are, who thrives with you, tips for applying, why work with you, referrals) and opens them in Email Marketing. If it says Draft, press Open in Email Marketing. Review and edit every email there, then press Activate; nothing sends until you do. Write it from my AEP rewrites the draft from your Org Design Cheat Sheet while the series is off. Emails send from your own mailbox, so connect it and add your mailing address in Email Marketing Settings first.
