Salary directory (/salaries)

Free

What it is

A public, salary.com-style directory of what common roles pay: median annual AND hourly wages plus a low-to-high range for 35+ occupations (nurse, electrician, truck driver, accountant, barber, and more), searchable by role, category, or keyword. Every role page has a location picker (all 50 states plus DC, National by default): pick a state and it shows that state's real US Bureau of Labor Statistics OEWS figures (annual median, hourly median, and the range where reported, labeled with the data year) when the live lookup succeeds, or a clearly labeled estimate otherwise; an estimate is never presented as official. Every role page also turns the paycheck question into an ownership one: it lists the real business ideas we have for that field (deep-linked into /ideas), features blog articles, and points to the staffing calculator (/calculators), the JD generator (/jd-generator), and Money School (/money-school). A marketing page with real data.

What it is for

anyone wondering what a job pays, and how to turn that same skill into a business they own

How to use it

At /salaries, search or filter to a role for its median pay, a low-to-high range, and a by-state view, then the real business ideas for that field and the staffing calculator alongside.
