Good to know.
Is this the same product as the SMS marketing?
No. The Email Marketing Suite and the SMS Marketing Suite are separate products. Texting carries its own legal rules (consent, quiet hours, opt-out language), so it gets its own product with its own campaigns and settings. Both can connect to the same CRM contact base.
Do I need the CRM Suite to use this?
No. You can add contacts and build lists right inside the Email Marketing Suite. The CRM connection is there when you want it: one click and your CRM contacts are reachable here too.
Will my emails land in the inbox?
Honest answer: deliverability is earned. Your emails go out through your own mail server from your own address, every one carries a working unsubscribe link, and you will do best emailing people who actually opted in. For the strongest footing, use an email address on your own domain; we help you set that up.
What happens when an email bounces?
When your mail server refuses an address for good while sending, that contact is marked bounced with the server's reason and skipped from then on; a temporary refusal is simply tried again later. Bounce notices that arrive afterwards as an email in your own mailbox cannot be read by the platform yet, so when you see one, you mark that contact bounced on its page.
