   Scale only what stays profitable

   Add a semi-standard line, more finishes, or limited runs once your custom work is consistently profitable and your name carries. Resist scaling into the mid-range price fight, where imported factories win; your edge is craft, and diluting it to chase volume is how small makers lose their premium.
