Make the developer and operations experience genuinely good, because that is often what wins a niche away from a cheaper commodity giant.

   Charge content providers per gigabyte delivered (and tier by region and volume), pricing against real delivery costs around 0.004 to 0.012 dollars per gigabyte while leaving margin for the value-added features.    Sell to content providers and website operators who feel the latency or cost pain your niche solves, and prove it with real performance and reliability numbers. Retention matters because delivery is sticky once integrated but price-shopped constantly. Compete on your niche's specific value, not global commodity price; the market-size figures are context, and there is no income promise against relentless margin compression.
